This policy explains what information the mobile game Alley Paws (“the app”, “we”) handles, why, and the choices you have. Alley Paws is made and published by an independent developer, Ege Kıyıcı. Questions: contact@egekiyici.com.
1. Summary
- Alley Paws has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
- Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device data to show and measure ads, as described below.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves your game progress and settings. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Alley Paws is free and supported by ads: full-screen ads between parts of the game, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for an in-game reward. Ads are provided by Google LLC through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. When ads are requested or shown, the SDK automatically collects and shares with Google:
| Data | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifiers | Android advertising ID, app set ID | Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention |
| IP address / approximate location | Country or city derived from your IP address | Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention |
| App interactions | App launches, ad views and taps | Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention |
| Diagnostics | Performance and crash information related to ads | Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention |
This data is encrypted in transit. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you; we only see aggregated ad reports. Google processes it under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
4. Fonts
The app downloads its fonts from Google Fonts when it starts. Like any download, this sends your IP address to Google. Google Fonts does not set cookies; see the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
5. Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): on first launch you are asked whether Google may use your data for personalised ads. To answer again, clear the app's storage (Android: Settings → Apps → Alley Paws → Storage → Clear storage) and the question appears the next time you open the game. This also deletes your saved progress.
- Personalised ads on Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by phone). Ads are then not personalised using that ID.
- US state privacy rights: where applicable (for example California), Google offers controls for restricting data processing for ads; you can also delete your advertising ID as above.
- No ads at all: playing with your internet connection turned off stops ad requests. Your progress is saved on your phone either way.
6. Children
Alley Paws is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
7. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, KVKK)
For users in the EEA, UK and Turkey: personalised advertising relies on your consent; non-personalised advertising, fraud prevention and keeping the app working rely on legitimate interests in offering a free, ad-supported game. You have the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey: KVKK, Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu). Because the app itself stores nothing about you on our side, most requests are handled through Google's tools linked above; contact us and we will help.
8. Data sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with anyone except Google for the purposes described above. Data processed by Google may be transferred to and stored in other countries, including the United States, under Google's safeguards.
9. Retention and security
Game data stays on your device until you delete the app or its data. Google retains advertising data according to its own retention policies. Data sent by the ads SDK is protected with TLS encryption.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
